I have always enjoyed problem-solving, I have the ability to look at complex problems and find solutions. But a problem solved is only useful if it is then going to benefit people. I like to work with people to provide solutions that gives the most benefit to those involved. I have led many teams to successfully implement system.
I think others would say that my superpower is to lead teams in creating people-centered technology solution.
I was born in Melbourne but grew up in a large family in rural Victoria. I now have a large family of my own, my wife and I have 6 children (although most are young adults now). I enjoy anything that gets me outside, sports like AFL football, cricket, and basketball. I also love getting out in the bush and walking or doing adventure activities like climbing, kayaking or skiing.
I have traveled extensively through Australia and the World and have lived and worked in both England and Italy.
I originally studies Physics and Math and started a career in Teaching before doing a second post-graduate studies in the 90s in Computer Science.
I have had over 25 years experience in IT in various fields including software development, IT management and system implementation. I have been working in WFM solutions for over 15 years across all industries but have had a particular focus on Health.
I have successfully implemented rostering and timekeeping solutions and provided advisor services for many health organisations including , NZ Health, Eastern Health, Barwon Health, Healius, Nazareth Care, Austin Health, Mercy, Uniting Care, Tricare and many other across public and private healthcare providers.
